Mopoz under 32.5 kills: No one in this group wants to play Gambit who is currently going under “players” due to the issue in Russia which is why they cannot sport any Gambit logos. Mopoz went under this total today with 30 kills vs Godsent which bodes well for the under here as Godsent is a team which will give away a lot more kills than Gambit. Gambit is one of the best teams in the world and the brand of CS they play is suffocating and hard to prepare for which is not a good sign for a team like Movistar Riders which are making a big leap in competition here. For some relative data, take a look at the 3-16 drubbing vs VP (same style as Gambit) where Mopoz dropped 11 kills. (I’m not seeing this play anymore but if you do I still like it)
Tabsen over 36.5 kills: I really want to play the over on Djay but that is an undisciplined play given the likelihood that BIG runs away with this series as they are -1000 favorites tomorrow vs Party Astronauts. For a little clarity, Party Astronauts are an NA team which has barely played overseas meaning they are not going to be prepared for this European style at all. It will be a big learning curve for them as was shown vs Gambit when they lost 4-16 and 6-16. Essentially they play here is that BIG should win and in wins Tabsen tends to have a big impact as shown by his ADR (83.6) which severely trumps Tizian’s (65.4). Tabsen has gone over in 4 of his last 6 and most importantly 2 of his last 3 on LAN where he thrives as his ADR rises to 85.2 across 57 maps. The one knock here is the potential of a blowout and to that I’d say I really don’t think BIG is the type of team to blow anyone out given they are dealing with some lineup changes (Faven + Krimbo) and Party Astronauts are definitely not going to be a team to save a lot which bodes well for kill potential.
NAF over 37.5 kills: Based on the form NAF was in today (48 kills) I think he will lean over here especially given the matchup vs Godsent where TL should excel. I’m not going to over hype TL based on the 2-0 over BIG today but I will say that it was a good sign that the talent level is there right now. If this was say 39.5 I would be weary because of guys like ELIGE who can go off at any moment. But NAF is excelling on this M4A1S meta and that is not going to end anytime soon. Want proof? 33.96% of NAFs kills are now with M4A1S which is wild and shows just how much the buff is helping him individually.
Shokz over 34.5 kills: Shokz is on a tear right now and has topped 41+ kills in maps 1-2 in 5-straight games. A matchup with Mouz NXT would usually scare me but they lost JDC and had to replace him with a really young Danish kid (Jimpphat) who is legit only 15 years old and has barely played pro. Some growing pains are to be expected and Finest has looked really good since they signed Twist & Plessen from SAVAGE. They’ve gone 4-1 with a 9-3 map score since the move.
