CSGO DraftKings Breakdown (3/17 – ESL Pro League)

ESL Pro League is some of the best CSGO action we will get so let’s not take this for granted. We are truly blessed…. okay I’m fucking with you but seriously these matches have been good and this group is pound for pound the most dangerous so don’t underestimate anyone.

  1. Vitality vs ENCE: Ence looked decent today vs FaZe but please do not think this roster is all of a sudden some sort of top dog. Vitality possesses the 2nd best player in CSGO right now (Zyw0o) and they have the better half of Astralis propping up the rest of their roster (Magisk, Dupreeh, Zonic). ENCE is a decent squad but they got a bit lucky vs FaZe today who was not on top of their game. Hades is a solid AWPer but he’s spent the majority of his time in Tier 2 and he’s struggled vs upper echelon competition. Spinx & Dycha are reliable sources but given the new addition of Maden I think this roster still needs a bit more time to really be unleashed. Give me Vitality here even despite the struggles vs Sprout. I think ENCE is going to draw a ton of ownership so fading them here is a really good GPP play. If you are willing to get wild I think a 3-stack could be solid here given the likelihood that we see extended rounds.
  2. Sprout vs Furia: Personally I think Sprout is a pretty trash team and the only reason they hung in there with Vitality was because they play a similar style which is essentially European CS. Furia doesn’t play this same style, instead they play faster which is what Brazilian CS is known for. Throw in how Furia just handled the Outsiders (Virtus Pro – Russia) and you have a recipe for a blowout here. My favorite plays in that scenario are always going to be Yuurih and KSCERATO who have the most international experience next to ART who is way too risky given his insanely aggressive style.
  3. Outsiders vs FaZe: People will likely attribute the FaZe loss to Ence playing well which is fair game but personally I think it was because FaZe played poorly as they deal with the Championship hangover. Likely they just practiced less given the success and now they are paying the consequences. The Outsiders are also a very methodical team and not one which I would bet on to lose two matches in a row. YEKINDAR is a top-tier player and I am willing to bet on him to return to form in a major way tomorrow. When this dude pops off it’s an insane show. I also think Qikert ($4600) is getting an extremely disrespectful price and I know the type of player he is. He is not a guy going -20 and that should change tomorrow while we sit back and stack the value which allows us to grab nearly any of the top plays at captain.
